The remarkable development made by the Middle East & North Africa’s real estate sector will again be on full display at the Cityscape Middle East Real Estate Awards marked with an Awards gala dinner that will be attended by industry leaders on April 19, 2009.
The gala event, traditionally staged on the first evening of Cityscape Abu Dhabi, attracted over 500 local and international guests in 2008 eager to see who will be selected as the ‘best of the best’ in the region.
Awards will be divided in to the main categories of Architecture and Development and all entries will be judged on contribution to world architecture culture, invention and imagination, respect for people, the planet, context, environmental awareness and appropriateness in the Middle East & North Africa region. In some categories, entries will be separated into Built Projects (those already complete) and Future Projects (those incomplete or still on the drawing board).
The Awards are open to industry professionals and companies in the Middle East & North Africa region namely Algeria, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. For each project entered, candidates must submit: a completed Awards nomination entry form, a 100-word brief outline of the project (in word document), a 500 -1000 word Award synopsis with supporting facts and figures (in Word document) and images of the scheme (300 dpi, PDF, JPEG or TIFF format).
