How To Enter

Eligibility & Evaluation Criteria

All entries will be judged on contribution to world architecture culture, invention and imagination, respect for people, the planet, context: environmental awareness and appropriateness in the emerging & recently developed countries in the Middle East and North Africa region namely, Algeria, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen

In some categories, entries will be separated into Built Projects (those already complete) and Future Projects (those incomplete or still on the drawing board).

Submission Deadline is 22nd March 2012

Submissions made after this date will not be accepted.

Each application will be assessed and judged by a panel of international industry experts and consultants. A shortlist of nominations will be selected and the Award winners will be announced and presented at an elaborate Awards Ceremony on April 23, 2012.

How to Enter

Step 1:

All entries must be submitted online.  With each entry, you must submit one pdf or word document that should  contain the following:

  • Owner / Client consent letter. 
  • Proof of planning approval and/or Client’s name should be submitted for all Future / Unbuilt  entries 
  • Two (2) high res images in jpeg format that may be used for promotional purposes. Total size of all Images submitted should not be more than 3MB
  • A 500-1000-word Award synopsis with supporting facts and figures. NOTE: The 500-1000 word synopsis outlines more details of the project, highlighting the following:
    • Objectives / Aims    
    • Technical details     
    • Innovativeness & Usefulness   
    • Current status of development
    • Date of completion (for Built projects) or expected date of completion (for Future projects)
    • Market potential & competitive advantage
    • anything else which you may want to add on  (i.e. facts & figures)
